A 54-year-old Otisville, Mich., woman sustained injuries when the motorcycle she was driving went of County Hwy. V in the township of Greenwood, Wednesday night.
Larene Klink was going west on County Hwy. V with a group of other motorcycles. She lost control of her motorcycle when a deer jumped out into her lane of traffic, according to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Department.
Klink was ejected from her motorcycle and the motorcycle went over an embankment. She sustained injuries to her leg, knee, cheek and hand. Klink was wearing a helmet.
She was taken by the Hillsboro Ambulance to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hillsboro for treatment.
Assisting at the scene was the Hillsboro Fire Department.
The accident remains under investigation.
