The Organic Maple Co-op, home of Maple Valley and New Era Farm, Inc. are preparing for the grand opening of Organic Farmers Market in Cashton, every Friday, beginning Aug. 22.

The Farmers Market will feature local products including fresh organic fruits, vegetables, Maple Valley organic maple products, Kickapoo Organic Coffees, Great River Organic Milling products and many more local producers products, showcased in a brand new farmers market in Cashton. Samples of locally produced products will be available for the public to taste.

With the creation of The Organic Maple Co-op, Maple Valley has been able to expand their facilities in Cashton to include a processing plant, shipping facility, business offices and The Organic Maple Co-op Store.

New Era Farm, Inc., located in rural Cashton, is the first certified organic partner in this venture.

“We are also seeking out more local products to showcase at the market,” said Linda Conyers, business manager for Maple Valley.

At this time, booth space is free to farmers/producers.

The Organic Maple Co-op is located off Hwy. 27 at 919 Front St. in the heart of Cashton’s business district. The Farmers Market is located in the parking lot next door to The Organic Maple Co-op. Farmers Market hours as of Aug. 22 will be Fridays from noon to 5 p.m.

For further information, contact Conyers at info@ maplevalleysyrup.com; www.MapleValley Syrup.com or 800-760-1449 office.
