Authorities have released the name of a De Soto woman killed Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 35 in the town of Wheatland, north of De Soto in Vernon County.

Bobbie J. Farra, 76, was killed when she lost control of a mini-van carrying her and a passenger, Kathy L. Farra-Leathers, 49. Farra was northbound on Hwy. 35 when her mini-van crossed the centerline and struck a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Charity D. Clark, who was traveling southbound.

Authorities cited snow-covered and slippery roads as a factor in the crash.
